The plant is built from standard modules, then adapted to meet specific customer needs. With BIOP, our second brand, we take it a step further: beyond developing and constructing biomethane projects, we also secure their long-term success through Own Plant Operation (OPO).

Design Engineering

BIOGEST begins each project with comprehensive engineering design. Our specialists develop precise, standard-compliant technical documentation tailored to the specific project requirements. This thorough planning forms the foundation for the efficient, sustainable, and reliable construction of biogas and biomethane plants.

Step 3
Co-Investment

Our technology creates sustainable long-term benefits, which we also apply through our sister company BIOP in the direct operation of plants (OPO). We don’t just build facilities – we also operate them. As active shareholders, we work closely with local partners to ensure efficient and successful project development.

Step 4
Turnkey Construction

BIOGEST supplies all of the technical equipment and measurement/control technology. Furthermore, we employ our own Project and Site Managers to oversee the construction phase. The project is concluded after commissioning test operations and a successful performance test. 

Step 5
Technical & Biological Service

Even after the construction and commissioning of your biogas or biomethane plant is complete, we continue to provide dedicated support to ensure long-term operational success. Our comprehensive after-sales services help you maximize plant efficiency, minimize downtime, and maintain reliable, environmentally friendly performance over the entire lifecycle of your facility.

Operation & Maintenance

We operate and maintain biogas  and biomethane plants with expert support during commissioning, continuous process monitoring, optimization of raw materials, and reliable technical assistance, both for BIOGEST plants and for biogas plants from third-party suppliers.
